Stat system

The Stat System The fighters of the DBZOrigins forum revolve around Stats. Stats control almost every aspect of combat. How much Strength someone has? What is their power level? Is he strong but slow, or is he fast but not the strongest around? And how long can he last in a fight? All these things are dependent on stats that each character will have. The stats will be broken up into 3 different groups. The first group of stats are the Yūki stats (YS). The YS controls strength, spirit, and speed. The next is Shōki Stat (SS). SS controls on how talented you are in certain area's such as Ki, Hand Combat, and Race. The last group is the Genkai Stat (GS). GS controls how much energy a fighter has for ki based or hand to hand attacks. Now when on your Data Sheet, the stats won't be categorized like below_______________________________________ Yūki Stats
Shōki Stats
Genkai Stats
Leveling Leveling happens through a combined effort of OOC and IG. To be able to level, this means you must have experience for that character. To gain experience, you must get your topic evaluated by the staff. Once all is done, you fill out the proper template. When you level, you get stat points to spend between the above mentioned stats. Each 1 level up gets 21 points to spend. The build is your own, so have fun with it. Aside form stat points being used, their is the matter of the skill leveling and the pints you get for those. These points are known as "Z Points". As stated before, they are used to level certain skills up. Now each level, you get 2 Zpoints to spend on skills. |

Experience
The Experience Section So how does one level? A fighter needs experience to level their character up. Experience is gained through getting a topic evaluated in the evaluation section. “But admin, what kind of topics can we get evaluated?” Good question. You can get any kind of topic evaluated that involves you role-playing. The topics for like requesting things and what not are not allowed to be evaluated. The experience you gain range from 1 to 20. “So I can just rp and request for as many as I want?” Nope. You can only request 2 experience evaluations per week. That is there so someone doesn’t get too powerful too fast. “So how much Experience does it take to level up?” Well looks below:_______________________________________
Power Level A power level is how strong a being is. It is the collective level of the Yūki & Genkai Stats multiplied by 2000. So say your 5 stats equal up to 20. Your power level would be (20 * 2000) 40,000. Rule of Maximum Level. Is there a maximum level? Why yes, there is. The maximum level at the moment is 60. This is subject to change when needed. |

Fighting system

Fighting System The DBZ Universe is made up of pretty much battle all the time. So, it is only right for warriors to fight for a living._______________________________________ Turns Turns are the time you and your opponent post your actions once, actions that describe attacks, defense, or any other thing that may be started by you, or in response to other actions your opponent have made. When in the middle of a set of fighting actions, the round usually lasts a few seconds (6 to 8 mostly), although there may be times of dialogue or others consisting of "dead time" in which no one is doing anything. For example, after you have dodged some attack you fall back to recover your breath. Have in mind that in such situations, your opponent may take advantage of it to rest as well, or continue his actions, making your "dead time" useless since you have to respond to it. It's basic common sense. Fighting Whenever you rp doing combat oriented actions, you must put your stats, combat points and techniques/abilities used at the bottom underneath your post, each in its own spoiler. This is not only so they can be displayed for your opponents to ensure rp combat accuracy but also so that you and your opponent can keep up with your stats as they fluctuate throughout the fight. Below is an example of how it should look. Note: Below is only an example; you may list everything and anything in your own way.
Options when fighting
Strength and Speed Influence on Battle If ones speed/strength is higher by 1.5x their opponents there will be a slightly noticeable difference, but nothing too significant. If ones speed/strength is higher by 2x their opponents there will be a bigger difference but nothing too overwhelming. If ones speed/strength is higher by 3x their opponents there will be a great difference and it would be obvious who had the upper hand in speed/strength. If ones speed/strength is higher by 4x or more their opponents there will be a huge difference and it would be extremely challenging to fight on their terms. Combat Points Combat points (or CP)are used for to determine on how many actions you can take in 1 turn. If this would not be implimented, a fighter could do all he whatever he want in a 6-8 second window with no worries what so ever. How many Combat points you have is relative to how strong you are.
Combat Point cost for Attacks
Energy Struggle A situational moment where two energy-based techniques collide in a conflicting struggle. The two energies both crash into each other from opposite sides. The power of the energy based technique is relative, the more energy the user puts into the technique the more powerful it becomes. The user who puts the most of their own energy into their technique will eventually overpower their opponent's energy attack and deal great damage. In the series a classic energy struggle you may remember was seen between Vegeta's Galic Gun and Goku's Kamehameha on earth .

Traveling
Traveling
_______________________________________
Traveling is essential for life in the DBZ universe. With out being able to travel, in the series, Kami and other alien races couldnt have made it to earth, the saiyans wouldn't have been able to attack earth, and many other situations. When traveling from inside the Leaders village or city to the rest of the planet, it doesn't take any time at all. Though, it does take quite a long time to get from one planet to another as well as leaving from a certain place on the planet you are living upon. _______________________________________
So traveling from planet to planet take 12 hours of real life time, such as if you post a leaving topic from the planet at 12 PM you can not land on the desired planet until 12 AM.
Betrayal.
Betrayal refers to betraying the population you currently live with in to go live in another, or just be a free roaming warrior. However, doing this will have some problems. First of all, one must wait 24 hours after posting the leaving topic to be fully gone, but with in that time, if someone had happen to join and try to stop you, then you must wait til you beat him before you can leave, whether or not the 24 hour time limit is up.
Conditions to stop someone.
- First off, the leader of the planet can enter no matter what to stop you.
- Next, The person trying to stop you, must have met your character in Role-play. This is to stop just anyone from entering the topic.

The weekly zeni payment is like a job payment for the warriors of the forum. Nowarrior is gonna fight with out payment right? So every week, one can request for a Bi-weekly payment [Meaning, every 2 weeks], which varies on what power grade someone is in. The power grade is set categories for Power levels, like 1 power grade could be power levels 2,000 - 25,000 and so forth.

Techniques & Skills
- Techniques
Techniques are the moves or "attacks" that a fighter uses out side of normal melee strikes. The techniques are special moves that uses energy, endurance and/or combat points. - Skills
A skill represents the learned knowledge and abilities of a character. Skills are known by various names, including proficiencies, abilities, talents and knacks. During character creation, a player character's skills are generally chosen from a long list. A character may have a fixed number of starting skills, or they may be paid for using character points. In contrast to attributes, very few games fix a player's skills at the start of the game, Since some skills are likely to be more useful than others, different skills often have different costs.
Damage grade
A damage grade is how strong a technique or skill is or how effective it is and can be. Through increasing ones power level, one can use higher and higher levels of damage grade skills/techniques. Over all, there are 5 different damage grades. The weakest power grade is M and goes up to the strongest, Z. Below are are the grades and what they mean.
Damage Grade Description M
(Moderate)
- A small amount of damage, nothing too severe, however, can be rather problematic in bulk. The damage received from this strength of attack can destroy small rocks and boulders but could barely scratch a mountain or large rock mass, As well, these techniques can be blocked with a D grade and over welled by grades G1 and higher.
D
(Decent)
- A mild amount of damage, can defiantly be a problem with a few of these together. The damage power of these attacks can make a small caves in mountains and obliterate large sized boulders. This grade of technique can block grade M techs and can be blocker by G1's, they are also overwhelmed by G2's and above.
G1
(Good)
- A formidable amount of damage, damage that can stand its own. These kind of techs can destroy small mountains and other boulder like structures. The G1 grades are capable of blocking Grade D techs and overwhelming grade M's. On the other hand, They are blocked by grade G2 and over whelmed by grade Z.
G2
(Great)
- A high amount of damage, highly noticeable amount of pain. This grade of techniques are the second strongest and only subjected to Grade Z. These can block G1 grades and overwhelm anything below that. These are blocked and possibly be overwhelmed by grade Z techs.
Z
(Z)
- An extreme amount of damage, extremely noticeable amount of pain. The strongest of all techniques they can block and over whlm any other damage grade around.
Skill Leveling
Now this only applies to a few skills that are available on the forum. These skills are ones that can be leveled up via special points given during level ups. The points can be spent on these skills that need leveling. Its just like putting points into stats except their isnt going to be as much to give out and there will be a limit. Check out the small portion of leveling in the stat section for a little more.
